Statement
As a figurative artist, my primary interest is in portraiture. I’m inspired by the unique details of each face and use the quirks of my personal style to capture the likeness, personality, and mood of my subjects. I create works that are lighthearted and often humorous, which I intend to be accessible by audiences of a wide variety of backgrounds. The immediacy of drawing currently dominates my artistic process, but I also work in painting, photography, and music.
